If I could think of one person who I was so glad to have, it would be you.
Despite arguments or disagreements, we have made it through.
Though these are only words these are all I have to tell you,
Though you have heard them many times before
I just want to reassure and let you know

I will always be here, help you pass and conquer all of your fears,
Wipe away all those tears and interfere
When life becomes too overwhelming, to confusing
I will help to make life better, more amusing
Make you laugh, reduce your all of your troubles,
Not merely half.
I will be there to understand and just to listen,
Give your heart comfort while the tears glisten
Of your hurting heart, I will play my part
As your closest friend,
Past "just friends", that simple meaning we transcend.
Your beautiful heart I will heal, I will mend,
And away, your sorrows I will send.
I would rather to see your smile
Not sadness, for sweetness is your style.
Let me help make things better, if only for a short while
And never let things bring you down,
For if you simply look around, you will see
A friend, you will see me, and that I would ever go is an impossibility.

There are times in which, the only people we can turn to are this,
The friends that life has brought, not that we have sought,
That have stayed because they want to.
-And it is as this they will continue
Through your life, I am one, closer than before I have become,
And I hope that we may be more, to help you is what I am meant for.
I speak in these words, in hopes that somehow you will see
That this is who we were both meant to be,
As friends and beyond that meaning
How special this is for me, is how I have been seeing
Our friendship through this whole time.

These words never seem strong enough
To begin to tell the meaning, it becomes so tough..
And no matter how many times I say it,
The words never seem to fit
All the things I mean, but never doubt that I mean every bit.

If you ever left, how much I would miss
Just you and everything else
That would not have happened if I was by myself,
Without you, my friend, who is always there to help.
For you, I will be there during the best and worst
Because you will always come first.

I wish you could understand but I only have these words to say
What I see and feel everyday,
That you are my friend, something that is a Godsend,
So I am letting you know that I will return
What you have done, helped me learn,
That we are friends now and always
And that is how I will always stay,
Even if you feel different somewhere along the line,
As it is this time, I will always be there.
It is simple, I will always care.
This friendship is something we will always share.
The key word is that I will always be here,

The words I say are so simple, but tell even more,
Of this friend you may always be sure
We will always be friends, always until the end.
